David Faber on CNBC reported this morning that Apple has scheduled an all-day analyst meeting for November 4. His conclusion was that companies don't do this unless they have very good news to report.

I hope all these rumblings about an earlier recovery aren't setting us up for a big disappointment. Guess we'll all know better after the close today!
