What's holding us down? I think there are several things at work here that have conspired to keep us in this stall. (1) Seasonality (2) Continued insider selling of lock-up shares. (3) The fear that the new ECN combinations will adversely impact market share. (4) Conspiracy theorists hyping the idea that market makers and analysts/journalists are manipulating market sentiment in order to facilitate shorting activity. I hope that this is just a coincidental confluence of market anomalies that will come to pass. Hope I am right. Still long after several margin calls.
