I believe Nicholas and Samueli own either a majority or close to a majority of shares in BRCM.

Unless the two of them have a falling out, I would doubt that Intel could buy them out.

Nicholas is 39 and Samueli is 44.

They have a good thing going. I picture the two hanging around for the next 20 years to see what they can turn their company in to.

If Intel were to offer to buy them out, I'm sure we would see quite a jump in the price of the stock. Of course, that would make BRCM a more costly purchase, too.
