Re-booting -- Part two:

Another suggestion --

Right click on a blank spot on desktop and select Properties.
Click Settings
Click Advanced Button
Click Performance tab

You'll get a 'slider' bar adjusting 'Hardware Acceleration'

Choose something less than 'FULL' setting and see if it helps.
