Take it one step further. Note that none of the articles have declared that Reagan was a racist. There is plenty of evidence that he wasn't, in fact was the opposite. But in his public life as a politician, he used racist issues to further his career.

This is just another attempt of a righty to shift the argument. They must practice this.
