First, you need to get a dial up account from am ISP (Internet Service Provider). Most ISP's will provide Netscape's browser, which I would recommend.

Once you have your new account with an ISP, make damn sure that AOL cancels you billing...I hear of horror stories where people keep getting billed long after they have canceled.
