So when will the Powers That Be in the Republican Party wake up and acknowledge that the current pack of front runners for the Republican Presidential Nomination-2012 are likely to be also rans in the general election against Obamamessia?

And when will they wake up to the fact that a real winner is out there standing in the wings, waiting to be drafted, although he will deny this right up to the point of accepting the nomination.

And who is that real winner?

General Petraeus.

The General says that he is not interested, that he will not run.

But when the Republicans wake up to the fact that Petraeus is likely the only one on whom they can currently rely on to really beat Obamamessiah, perhaps they will dedicate themselves to changing Petraeus's mind.

Remember Eisenhower? He had to undergo the same treatment before the "reluctantly" decided to run.
