Alan, I have no idea other than that people have been exspecting the 40m oz. The stock may have already discounted to that number as well. Another thing is that the major brokerage houses in Canada will be ending their fiscal year book this June. This may have attributes to all the selling in the VSE/TSE. Hang on because their only 2 days left this month. Hopefully this will end the selings.

Here are some postings from Prodigy BB. There seems to be more but on another subject and I could not locate them at this moment. The posters are posting from one subject to another since many of them and in jr. minings.

I have also read the latest Doug Casey "June" newsletter.
The fact that he removes a company from his list is not
an outright sell (especially a company like Bre-x or
Bresea resources) but just "housekeeping". He does
take the attitude that once it's off his list it's at your
own risk. But risk is what investing in these comapnies
is all about.
His cautious heed on Indonesia or it's government. Is the
same sort of warning given by the latest Kaiser report on
Indonesia. Casey's thoughts on Indonesia is no Indonesian
has benifited from Bre-x fortunes and "envy" could become an
issue...
I have done well in his past picks and most recently
his new buy for Golden Bear which trades on the vancouver
V.GB. I hoping it continues its recent runup. It seems that
they have exceptional drill results on their first attempt.
Also metioned Delta gold. It's also had a good runup.
Hoping the best for everyone.

Dennis:
When investing outside of the US there is always the
potential for political risk, Indonesia is no exception.
This country is growing dramatically and even though
strains are beginning to appear in their social structure,
Indonesia remains one of the most favorable places for
natural resources companies to do business. For over 30
years they have honored ever single committment they have
made through their COW's(contracts of work) and their is
absolutely no reason to believe this is going to change.
Bre-x is not the first mega find. You have FCX, RTZ, and a
host of energy companies that have holdings equaling or
exceeding the size of Bre-x. Believe me Indonesia is not
blinded by the Busang as have many Canadian and American
investors who have missed a boat and what is probably going
to be the largest single gold deposit.

Ken,
I agree with some of your thoughts on Indonesia.
I saw the light back in November of 1995 and purchased
over 10 different companies that were staking in Indonesia. I have since sold all but three.
My concern is with Indonesia is the latest Kaiser
bottom fishing report he raised a valid point of a company
called Yamana who has until July 16 to get half of their
money back from a bond that they put up when their
COW contract was penned. This company is starting to sweat
it out for theh have yet to date have received not one
single piece of paper from the government. Kaiser as well
as other companies in the same situation are watching what
develops here.
Doug Casey's newsletter had also a cautious note.
It will be interesting how everything develops on this
matter
