Dennis,

Thanks for the comments. You might also be interested in my post #1975 on "Imp...Sympathy..." thread.

1. It may be appropriate to label Imp the analog analog of Xilinx, or any other programable digital provider EXCEPT that it is a totally different bag-o-worms trying to shoehorn the programable paradigm onto the analog world. Rather than re-hash, I again direct to post #1975. Imp gave an EPAC demo @ my company a year or so ago, I did not attend. One Engineer who worked for me, and several associates went. They were not as impressed after attending, as I was from the information I had read at the time. None of them has found an appropriate place to use the EPAC in our designs. This, of course, does not mean the EPAC has no merit. P. Lynch would have frowned at my purchase, however, based on what little I knew at the time I bought. I got swept up in the euphoria generated both by and outside the company.

2. Citing David Laws as a positive corporate influence may not get you much applause on this thread!

3. Yup, diversification is a wonderful thing.

Thanks again, and good luck.
