My guess is that there is some mutual backrubbing here between Lehman and Sunrise. Sunrise gave Lehman's customers the pre-ODP discount, and Sunrise gets Lehman on their side in terms of coverage and general investment banking sponsorship. Perhaps SNRS management has decided that the price of playing the game is OK when the reward is to start winning.
