Mika, Some basic thoughts :
We "techies, and would-be techies", are so enamoured
with 2G and 3G cell and satellite communications technologies -- that we have forgotten or fail to
realize the following:

A large segment of the world's population consider
their most valuable posession to be a bicycle, and have no desire or dream of owning or using a 2G or 3G phone.

Ericsson and others must meet there needs first, with
either wired technologies, or in many cases, satellite
connected phone boxes.

I think that Elmatador has voiced his frustration
with Ericy's narrow emphasis on RF Interface technologies.
I think that he has a good point there.
