Kano:
The furnace in my home burns # 2 diesel. It is called heating
oil in our neck of the woods. When the oil company misjudges
delivery dates and we run out. I take the three 5 gal. cans go to
the gas station and get 15 gal. diesel ( it is # 2 ) and it burns
that. The only difference is an additive that provides smoother
running for cars and trucks. This is my understanding from the oil
people. I hope this helps.
