OK i have the URL you posted bookmarked. i go there. i click on Download Updates in the little box. i click on filename: 20030822-007-i32.exe (august 22). that prompts me to save the file either in downloads or change it to desktop. i'm not given the choice of opening it. i save it, then click on it to execute. answer a few question yes, and it seems to have installed. but thaat is diff from what you said. thanks for the help.larry
