Tom, I think you owe Rodney an apology... I cannot imagine "riots and looting like the Rodney King verdict" over either Bush or Gore. More like "yawns" and "belching" if you ask me. Anyway, more importantly, although I have not seen it discussed very much, somebody please correct me if I am wrong, but if Bush is certified as the winner on Sunday night, will the Bush camp withdraw its appeal to the US Sup. Ct.? The only reason I can see why they would continue to pursue it is because the Gore camp is already on record as saying they will "contest" the results. Otherwise, the US Sup. Ct should refuse to hear the appeal as it will have become "moot." Apologies if you've already heard this one: Anybody know how many Floridians it takes to screw in a lightbulb? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . sorry, don't know the answer yet because they're still counting!
