OT: Mike re: AFCI

Yeah, I agree with you that there doesn't appear to be anything hidden here with respect to AFCI (except maybe their holdings of CSCO stock that is price-locked (hedged) and the cash on their balance sheet) but I still think the company is worth more than ~ $40.00/share (taking out the cisco and cash).

For those of you who are HLIT investors I apologize for the diversion, but the comparison is much the same. Even though we all understand HLIT's business, market share, competitive position and the opportunity open to them, doesn't HLIT seem cheap sub $40.00? In other words, while HLIT's story is no secret, is their "market value" synonymous with "market capitalization" (stock value)? This is more of a rhetorical question in my mind but if anyone would like to comment I'm all ears. Not intending to be condescending but the question I'm asking very simply is the market fairly valuing HLIT today.

My sense is that there is a wall of worry surrounding 1) DiviCom growth story and 2) the misinterpretation of AT&T revenues declining as a percentage of total sales. I bring this up because a poster on YooHoo yesterday obviously did "get it" when he/she responded to someone else's post about "no news with HLIT - why is the stock sliding?" with "what about declining orders from T".

In any event, once these bogymen are slain, I sense that HLIT will become more fairly valued.
