Bob and All: I think SFAM has become a compelling value in the past few days and if anyone is interested in a good CMP investment this company is worth a look. CY '98 EPS looks now at about $2.05 in a company with a projected growth rate of 30%. At $25.625, this company trades at 12.5x estimated '98 earnings. Close to 0 debt. With all the news about .25u movement, this company looks positioned well.

Do your own research. This is damaged goods in light of SE Asian concerns (legitimate short term concerns at this point) and there is strong competition from AMAT but there should be enough CMP work around to support this small company (1997 revenues < 175m thus far). CMP estimated to be $549m market in 1998 and $1.174b in 2001. SFAM had estimated CMP market share of 20% in 1996 and is shooting for 27% in 1997. They have other products as well.
