IMAT making a nice move on roughly double daily average volume yesterday and today. Increasing sales and revenues are probably helping and publicity from Oprah's scan might be helping a little. Public awareness of the scan capability is growing. I had a two month wait to get a scan in Austin, TX. Unfortunately many doctors regard the scan as only a screening tool when in fact the Imatron scanner is also capable of performing electron beam angiograms at no risk and a fraction of the cost of conventional angiograms. Full body scans will make the annual physical much more complete. Some day....soon I hope.. the market will recognize the potential in sales and service fees.
