It was a truism years ago - No one gets fired for buying IBM. I believe that Intel has now reached similar status. No one is going to get fired for buying Intel. Especially when each PC (after software and support) cost US companies between $10-20k each. $200 is less than 1 or 2% of total cost. Imagine the poor guy who buys 2000 PC's with Cyrix inside and for some reason the newest version of Netscape won't work.
