BTW, dear penni, I have shared elsewhere and thought I shared here the way of dealing with the dreaded squid: Short postings are not a problem. However, the thoughtful postings on which one has thought and posted a long and reasoned response are another issue. Reformulating the response feels so flat. What I have learned is, hit Edit/Copy for the response, which can be lost both going to the edit phase and from the edit phase to publish. Especially if one is dropped on one's head by the ISP somewhere in the process! Edit/Copy will hold your response through an entire reboot. My good deed having been done for the day, I shall revert to provocateuse.
