Hi Malcolm - "Preferably outside the U.S. " You are almost making the case for the China and Japan markets.

China - saving like crazy, growing fast, but market has some popularity. P/Es all over the place, but some low. Some dividend payers.

Japan - market still unpopluar, modest savings, low P/Es.

Both have balance of payments going the other way.
Both face danger of rising currency...
