In 1970, I had a phone installed on a kitchen wall in my apartment on Anthony Avenue (just below Burnside Ave.) The installer started to staple wire right up a wall in the middle of the room. I was shocked, and asked him why he wasn't snaking the wire thru the wall. He said that NYTel only required concealed wiring north of Kingsbridge Road. After he left, _I_ snaked the wire. [Regards]
