Chris Cilliza says Schumer felt pressured to protect the vulnerable senators in 2018. I can see that. The polls did not want dems to shut the govrnment for DACA even though most want it. And the Republicans did a good job demagoguing it like they always do, Trump and the Republicans are using the same play book they used on Kerry et al, but in a much larger game. Pence making military people side with his lies was shameful, but then Republicans have no shame. I do worry about the Democratic party splitting up before 2018 Winning the house is crucial to our survival. Otherwise the Republicans will lay waste to us. cnn.com
