I have no doubts that the anointing of God resides in this place.

Remember that event of the transfiguration when Christ met Elijah and Moses on the Mount Tabor. Mark 9th chapter. "there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Kingdom of God present with power".

Now the great mystery. The question. Why do the scribes say that Elijah MUST COME FIRST. Go back to Malachi Chap 4. "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord."

At this point it is difficult to speak in that tense of time that Christ spoke but he said "indeed Elijah is coming" . It is no secret that Christ referred to John the Baptist here.
What is the mystery here. Elijah represents any individual that is completely sold out to God. Both John and Elijah lived with the jackels much of their lives, existing in the wilderness, in caves, being persecuted, running for their lives.

I believe that this is where true kingdom power originates. Am I saying that we all should sell our homes and quit our jobs. No.Not at all. I am saying that true freedom from material possessions begins in our attitudes and minds. Not just that but a reliance on our spiritual possessions instead.

Just keep reading in Mark 9 . Christ heals a person possessed with a deaf and dumb spirit. Coincidence. Not at all. What is it that the spirit of Elijah brings about with the emphasis on repentance. Communion with God. Communication with God. In this chapter God is showing us that we are deaf and dumb; how can we have a relationship with God .

Last Christ goes into what offenses we have and how it can lead us to the fire. Obviously Christ was not just talking to his disciples but was emphasizing to them that yes there is a place of eternal punishment as a motivation to them to be earnest in their ministries.

Then He states that all shall be seasoned with fire or that we all shall be tried in the fire but listen to this he states that our sacrifies (US) shall be seasoned with salt. Christ says have salt in yourselves. What did he mean. Salt to me represents the word of God . The word of God gives us staying power. we know God is in control. We know God is doing a marvelous work in us. We know that God has seasoned our sacrifices, meaning that He is doing a work in us that will last. But let us not be ignorant and lose our savor , lose our taste. Let us preserve ourselves. Make the price we pay COUNT.
Yes we will endure a lot ; but lets remain in that POWER . Dont lose the power by casting the sacrifices we give in terms of life's struggles and tests back to the enemy.

If we can all do this your thread will raise to a level of power that even all of us here will be in awe of . We have only scratched the surface. Yes we have seen so many miracles here that they are commonplace to us ...but I tell you God is calling us to an even higher level.....In Christ gregor
