The EFNT conference call yesterday is well-worth listening to:

800-475-6701 Access # 532767

Great presentation by Mark Floyd, CEO. I like a company that'll come out to defend their stock. The CC was hosted by Frost Securities, perhaps because they believe EFNT has been unfairly punished. The CEO is very straight-forward and doesn't excessively hype the stock.

For those of you who haven't heard the CC, Markox5 did an extensive series of posts on the Yahoo EFNT msg board last night in which he outlined the essential details of what the CEO said, starting with this post:

messages.yahoo.com

To add to what Markox5's notes, the CEO seemed as surprised as anyone else about how the stock has traded down. To paraphrase the CEO:

"There's nothing here as of August 10th that tells me we're performing any different than last quarter..." [which was a good qtr].

"I'm amazed to see what the stock has done..."

And with respect to last week's Jeffries' report (and downgrade of EFNT):

"The report came out and I never got to look at it ahead of time, so I will tell you that the analysts that sent that out did not have the benefit of Efficient Networks nor my input into the report..."

IMO, recently discounted shares of EFNT appear to be another giveaway.
