Today, I had a conversation with the Company, specifically with Darren Little, Vice President of Advertising and Promotions. This is my first time talking to him but according to Little, the future looks extremely positive for the company. He has been with AGTI for the past year and has been instrumental in giving the company a new image facelift, including a new logo, introduction of new corporate materials and a new mascot character named MAX. MAX, was designed to create a positive anchor for the consumer market to remember the company's product, MAX Bingo Systems. Little stated MAX will play an instrumental role in increasing consumer awareness during the launching and positioning of the company's product line. I love this strategy by the way.
The MAX made its debut at the NIGA gaming conference in Minneapolis in August with a huge success. The MAX character was incorporated into a 7 foot tall real life costume, to appear at trade shows and new product installations. Attendees of the conference were apparently drawn to the character like a magnet, leaving a positive anchor for the company's MAX product line. MAX has been incorporated into an entire line of promotional merchandise, including T-shirts, lapel pins, and even temporary tattoos for kids. In 1998 he will be accompanied by a dog named.., you guessed it, B-I-N-G-O. You can see MAX and BINGO on the company website.
Little stated that it has taken the past year to strategically position the company in to the marketplace. This included redesigning and printing of all the required promotional materials, creation of the company's advertising and media relations campaign, the creation and introduction of their new mascot character MAX, redesigning their internet site and constructing a new trade show display. Little stated that the initial acceptance of the new marketing strategy has been extremely positive with evidence at the N.I.G.A. gaming conference in August; returning with 3 signed contracts. Who they were he did not say. He stated that after three and a half years of research and development, the company finally has all of the components in place to successfully penetrate the market.
The Company's product has now been successfully installed in numerous locations across the United Sates and over 30% of the company's current orders are coming from their existing clients who are ordering more product! To promote their products, AGTI currently has a strategic campaign in place that to date has been extremely successful.
