It is clear that Israel has a problem leaving a Gaza ruled by Hamas, Israel should never leave Gaza if that is the case; the Yassin assassination gave Hamas a terrific boost in Gaza. The hit was not a very smart thing. The alternatives? Don't ask me, though doing anything that increases Hamas' popularity and stature in Gaza is clearly counter-productive.
