Re: IBM and Linux No impact on MSFT but I'd be worried if I were COBT or LNUX. IBM along with DELL, CPQ, and HWP are not about to see upstarts sport multi-billion dollar market caps for shipping Linux boxes. Watch for Linux to begin to put added pressure on SUNW's midrange server offerings too. The AOL-TWX deal should drive the final stake through the heart of the MSFT monopolist argument. Hard to imagine how this new behemoth doesn't provide adequate competition for even the most biased observer.
