Good points Mike.

I think Gordon is wrong on Oracle, as they might be a good softwrae company but,

1- intermittent, inconsistent on earnings (Not an MSFT here)

2- Great products, but no standard setting here, that they can set anyway.

3- Barriers to entry are NOT that high, as you do have more choices in other databse engines that let's say, Windows has <g>

4- Are database software in a tornado or is it too specialized ?

5- Pricing power on Oracle must NOT be that high, with the competition no ?

I don't really think, that as an investor, this company will be a Qualcomm, MSFT or Cisco in growth & consistency in earnings...

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next years.
