Westi: I'll have to catch up on back prayer requests tomorrow; thank you for standing in the gap for me today. Well, the surgery went very well and the surgeon said it looked good although her deterioration was more than expected; actually calcification that he had to cut away; but she should have a full recovery.

She gets very ill on pain killers and we told everyone 5 times not to give her morphine type drugs for pain, from her primary care physician to the surgeon to the anesthesiologist; so guess what ? the post op nurse gave her not one but 4 doses of a morphine type drug for pain.

She got very ill. Well , I asked the nurse to see a PDR and found out that what they gave her, found out it was thrown off by the kidneys , found out the half life and pretty much calculated on my own she would get it out of her system by 7 pm. I asked the nurse to put an extra saline bag up and open it wide open. So all afternoon I was helping her out of bed and going to the bathroom. She felt a lot better by the time I expected. She held down a few crackers and jello and I check her out and brought her home. She said she felt like a cow that had been run through a branding stall; we never even saw the doctor after the surgery; so she is home now and doing very well, she is sleeping and that is where I am headed too. Love you all. Thanks for the prayers. It was about a 1 1/2 hour drive home too but we survived it..... With love and affection..............Greg
