For those who care, the real intent of drug free and gun free, zones- was to increase the punishment possible. If you're a modern liberal, you're free to look stuff like that up: en.wikipedia.org I sort of remembered the constitutional brouhaha over this, but I didn't want to post about it until I refreshed my recollection.
