Interesting perspective.

There is a difference between Virginia and California. Many of our roads were Indian paths originally and were laid out along farm land that are now developments.

These developments are accessed via stop lights on the roads.
To go to 65 on these roads would invite more accidents; the roads would have to be totally redesigned with service road entrances and exits. Many beautiful areas would be destroyed by such.

There are a few roads that 65 is doable-----these are the major roads in and out of Washington------even then one accident can stop people for hours.

Read Senator Warner's suggestion the other day and figured it would not be well received. People don't want to give up their ability to move out on the open roads.

This writer sounds like a rather impatient sort.
