Cramer & Maria?

forbes.com
Years ago my uncle lost a bundle on SOVEREIGN BANCORP when Maria touted this stock on cnbc before the market opened. Well my uncle not that good of a trader put in a market order and paid the high of the day which by the way was at the open. The stock ran up I think over 6 bucks at the open. Funny thing was SOVEREIGN BANCORP at the time was trading on the Nasdaq since has moved over to the Big Board. Why would Maria be touting (pumping) a stock on the Nasdaq when she is a NYSE ( big board) reporter? In all these years SOVEREIGN BANCORP has not seen that stock price. Does Maria actually know what she was doing or was she naive? Does CNBC know what happened that trading day. I really don't find any other anchor doing this on cnbc but Maria.
