09:59 ET Argentines Woes...Again : Argentina is returning as an issue due to two recent events; there have been rumors that Economy Minister Domingo Cavallo might resign, and the government reported on Monday a sharper than expected 14% decline in September tax revenues that may necessitate more spending cuts. With internal strife already rampant, the prospect of more spending cuts is adding to political uncertainty ahead of Oct 14 elections; placing austerity programs in doubt, along with the foreign loans contingent on austerity.
