Is this an eOrb application? Saw this on the (Nortel) NT thread Avici and Tellium will conduct a demonstration of how a high speed router and optical switch are joined under a common management system to turn off and turn on bandwidth as traffic requirements demand. If this sounds familiar, Nortel's OPTera will do the same thing. Remember that Nortel owns 20% of Avici. If Avici has a successful IPO, Nortel will get a large infusion of cash. zdnet.com Would be very significant if this is based on Vertel technology. Anyone know? Regards Max
