His "axe" is really evident. Too bad, he has ended his career on a very sour note.

Bitterness is actually quite prevalent among retired career govt employees.
Especially those who retired only because they could not get appointed to the next level.

Then you have guys like me who wish they could have stayed one rank lower and continued operating.
