ahhh shows you how much I know... se = second edition ah ha! anyway, when I said searches I meant searching for the exe files on my hard drive that might launch the tools you described. To be honest I doubted that these types of tools could actually fix this problem (bwdik!) since I was able to get connected only weeks before and it doesn't 'seem' like these kinda generic tools would solve my exception fault problem. I WAS willing to give it a shot if I could easily run each one but honesty may never take the time to seek out each one on the internet. but fwiw I did run vcmui yet didn’t see any helpful info and still can't make a connection. I'll check out your link though when I have more time since who knows maybe in the troubleshooting description I'll learn something! thx. RO
