Cross national comparative data are unlikely to answer questions at this level. They can get the debate further down the road but not offer conclusive arguments.

But when you think about the full panoply of possibilities for the use of weapons on campus--not this fanciful vigilante type defense Bill argues for--it is well beyond frightening. Hopefully, our polity has not descended to levels that permit it.
