Thanks for returning with another brilliant analysis of the marketplace. I was getting worried about you for a while. You have given this thread such a wealth of insight and information, that we should be able to cruise along almost on automatic pilot for at least a few years. I'm sure you will keep us informed if you see any really significant changes in the WIND.

I bought shares of Wind River in 1993 after hearing Jerry Fiddler speak at UC Berkeley's Entrepreneur's Forum. I liked what he had to say about the inevitability of COTS ROTS replacing Roll Your Owns in the the 32 bit environment. However, I am not a professional in the field and sold my large position of 20,000 shares probably to you at 3 (6) for a loss to buy some real estate in 1994. It took your consistent and intelligent analysis to rekindle my interest in this company's prospects, and to brave the volatility. I hope to thank you for that in a couple of years.

I am curious about your travels and if you have any new insights into the larger picture of the world. I found your description of China very interesting last time you sallied forth. Would you be able to share something about your trips, be it helping rebuild a village in Chiapas or investing in Taiwan chips. Somehow, I can't imagine you lying on the beach in Thailand for two months?
