While I continue to be bearish on Syquest, I will point out that contrary to your claim, the company had a very large backlog of SyJet orders when it first began shipping. This fact however serves to point out that initial backlog is not a solid indication of future success.

On a related note, one thing to keep in mind about Syquest's current situation is that many of the warrant holders are now converting to lock in some quick profits. This is pouring millions of dollars into the hands of management at the best possible time. As a result, I doubt we'll see the same sort of roadblocks we've seen in the past with regards to product ramp-up unless their are component shortages or if the quality rumors turn out to be true.

Regards - Dale
