Who's responsible for the Infrastructure piece? Good question...
I do know that, on June 23, 1997 (when Cymer shares were within $1-2 of where they are now), Carl Johnson - director of said publication - told TechInvestor: "One can also participate in the growth of DUV steppers by investing in the shares of Cymer. Cymer manufactures excimer lasers used in DUV steppers and is enjoying spectacular growth. It's primary customers include the four largest stepper firms..."
CYMI was one of four stocks recommended by Johnson in this Maven article on the stepper market segment. (Others were ASM, SVGI, and UTEK - the first are of course customers, and I understand UTEK's groundbreaking P-GILD tool may require Cymer lasers as well.
Ian - Can you confirm?)
Assuming the mystery article is, in fact, from Infrastructure, I guess one could pay for a subscription to see if these folks are a bit more sure of themselves in the months ahead...
