Over and over... Of course, since conservatives are either evil, stupid, or deluded, we deserve whatever is dished out. We're all a bunch of Clinton Haters anyway, caught in the grip of an irrational animosity. None of this controversy is the Clintons' fault. It was all cooked up by a cabal of conservative lawyers and journalists, a brilliant if diabolical plan to use Clinton's weaknesses against him. Probably, Juanita is in the pay of the VRWC too. The scales are falling from my eyes! I can see now that Bill, far from being slime, is, as Al Gore said, one of the greatest President's in our country's history. How could I have voted for Reagan, Bush and Dole? How could I have left the Democratic Party, the repository of all that is right and good in the Republic? How could I tolerate the dread Religious Right, and value their contribution to the debate about our country's direction, instead of recognizing them for the sinister force they are? How could I have questioned the veracity, integrity, judgment, and essential goodness Bill Clinton? Schuh is right to use such a tone! We are not worthy.... |
