I bought my first in November, 1974. The first personal computer, often credited to being the Altair 8800, was released in January, 1975. The Apple II was released in 1977. Radio Shack, and myriad of others offered personal computers in the late 1970s. How big is the rock you live under? Or, were you just born yesterday? Paul
