The deals being offered in southeast Florida are very similar to that you describe for Dallas; I think only the per minute charges are different: .25 per minute for the whole state. However, I believe the QualComm phone battery life is 4-5 hours of talking, or a couple of days standby. Perhaps of interest: Sprint has taken out full page ads in local papers here (Ft. Lauderdale area), discouraging the purchase of any PCS until checking out the Sprint deal; then when I called the Sprint telephone number, their agent could not say when their service would be available, or how it would differ from PrimeCo PCS.... :-) The Sprint ad shows a photo of the QCP-1900 with Sony and Sprint logos!
