It's all money/time. The better the long term return, the more locked up you are. That's to be expected. A big downturn in RE could take a decade to come back. We are all here at SI because we want to figure out what to do.

That's why I keep thinking gold has to go up, even though it's already high. Too many people running around looking for vanishing safe havens for gold not to move. It's a small market, easily moved.
