There aren't that many places to go, so I doubt this is as much a factor as the article is trying to make out. Some
of the best may go to new start ups, but we all know that
the financing of new start ups is tough in the current
market conditions.

This makes a intersting case for outsourced services such as those offered by IBM and EDS. Though EDS would probably
be too expensive for most small to medium sized companies.
So who is around to fill the gap???
