WARNING, NON-Geological Posting, except the last bit
Just a few observations gang,
I received a call a few days ago from a Cannacord broker who would like for me to become a client (I believe he got my number from Winspear). In our chat I asked him if he follows SI, surprise surprise he does. Anyway just a direct confirmation that Cannacord is very likely reading all that is posted here and gee whiz, who knows, maybe there are other brokers, promoters and shorters (if you'll excuse the redundancy) reading and posting here as well.
In the ongoing disgustion regarding WSP options, I believe it has been implied that 4.5 million options in addition to 2.2 million re-priced ones are being issued thereby diluting shareholder value. Where has that been announced? It was my understanding that at the EGM the re-pricing of an EXISTING (Feb 10/97) 2.5 million options was approved and a stock option plan ALLOWING the issue of up to 4.5 million options was approved. To my knowledge no options whatsoever have been issued since February this year. Just like to clear that up.
Regarding R.T. he is down for 285,000 options of the 2.2 million, there are 14 others sharing the remainder as well - other directors and geologists working for the company. I don't see any rapacious behaviour on R.T.'s part here. Go have a look at Kalahari insider reports for some real entertainment.
I have to agree with Chris Anatra, reading R.T.'s bio combined with the lack of any selling on his part seems fairly positive. Now, if only Lucas would stop selling - Cannacord broker had no answer to that question.
The geology bit as promised :) Diamonds are hard, stock is soft. ;-)
Have a good weekend, Kim
P.S. I do hereby disclose that I am a shareholder in Winspear Resources, and I do wish everyone to buy lots of it and often. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a stock broker/promoter, nor to my knowledge do I personally know any of the persons involved with this company. Oh, and Kim Evans is my real actual honest-to-goodness name - anyone else care to make a declaration like the foregoing? C'mon put yer motives where yer mouth is! Heh, must be Friday... |
