It's hard to tell how much damage it's doing, but all of the coverage of the 10th anniversary of the 87 crash certainly isn't helping. I do, however, detect a change of tone today, today's reports seem to be more reassuring than the reports earlier in the week, more emphasis on the differences than on the similarities. Like maybe some of the brass made the connection between their reporting and the consequences, or at least the possible consequences (can you say, "Oh shit, what are we doing ?"). Or maybe it's the fact that some of them actually even OWN stock themselves, and at this point, it doesn't matter very much which stocks they own, either (can you say ........)
