Robin,
Understand the percent of shares short. How did you compute the number of days to cover? As I understand shorting a stock, one may hold a short position for a long term. The individual shorting the stock needs the funds to cover the short if the short sale is in a deficit position. There is a minor threat of the shares borrowed being needed by the actual owner.
