Company News Published Oct 17 2001 Alliant Techsystems, Hopkins, has been awarded a $4 million Air Force contract to continue production of the DSU-33B/B proximity sensor for use in the Joint Direct Attack Munition and other air-delivered ordnance. Xata Corp., Burnsville, has been awarded a contract valued at $4.1 million by a grocery distribution company. The contract covers installation of Xata's onboard computers equipped with Global Positioning System and satellite communications capabilities in the customer's fleet of more than 1,000 trucks. © Copyright 2001 Star Tribune.
