AdoredTV's source claims about "Zen 3" and its bring-up:

  • 2 threads per core
  • 10-15% single-threaded IPC increase over Zen 2
  • 8-core CCX/CCD with unified 32 MiB cache (i.e. still 4 MiB per core)
  • L3 latency increased to 47 cycles vs 40 cycles in Zen 2
  • Power improvements to offset power requirements of new features
  • New instructions (AVX-512 comes in Zen 4, though) and security features
  • Increased boost frequency
  • A0 stepping is sampling (no SMT), with B0 stepping scheduled for September
